Road for New Believers - Baptism

The Road to Take- It is God’s desire that each of his children have a loving relationship with him.

God desires a loving personal relationship with each of his sons and daughters

I believe that God desires for each and every one of us to have a loving, personal relationship with him. Unfortunately, due to our sins, which began with Adam and Eve, we are all separated from God for all eternity since all of mankind has sinned against him. God declares that death and hell are the just punishment for our sins.

(Roman 3:23-25) For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God.

God has, however, shown us that he still loves us and has, therefore, made a way for us to be reconciled back to him. He sent his Son, Jesus, on the cross to pay the punishment for our sins so that we can be reconciled back to him. God has, however, shown us that he still loves us and has, therefore, made a way for us to be reconciled back to him. He sent his Son, Jesus, on the cross to pay the punishment for our sins so that we can be reconciled back to him.

(Romans 10:9-10) That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation

There is the disposition to surrender, giving adherence to Jesus as your Savior, and holding onto eternal hope that you will be resurrected on your physical body and reunited with God the father, God the son, and God the holy spirit, which is the trinity of God. A person cannot obtain a place in heaven by being a good person; he or she must come with a willing and repentant heart before the Lord Jesus Christ and walk according to the Lord’s will. You and I have received a great gift from our savior, Jesus has done everything for us, he has provided us with new life, and this confession will help you understand there is no other way to be reconciled to God the Father than through only Jesus Christ.

(Acts 4:12) Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Lastly, as you confess this, you are placing your faith and hope in Jesus Christ, your Lord and savior, allowing him to provide you with Reconciliation, justification, salvation, redemption, forgiveness, adoption, and complete freedom, bringing you into fellowship with God. As you confess this, it means that you have placed all your trust in Jesus Christ, and you will walk with him personally.

Prayer:

My heavenly Father, it is with my whole heart that I surrender my life to you, my old life, current life, and all that lies ahead, as I lay down my will at Your bosom, acknowledging that Your ways show a deeper perspective than anything I could imagine for myself, and Your plans are better than anything I can imagine for myself.

(Jeremiah 29:11-13) And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.

During the course of this time of meditation and reflection, I make a conscious decision to relinquish. I offer my entire being up to your full control, Heavenly Father, I surrender everything to You, and It is with a deep sense of resignation that I lift up my troubles, confusions, and self-loss of identity of who I am in Christ Jesus, as well as my burdens of life affairs, my worries about feeling the loss of things in life, as well as my fears of what the future holds for me. My Lord, may I embody and embrace the divine grace that you have freely given me as I surrender my self-reliance to release my own plans, purpose, will, ambitions, and longings into Your reliable and faithful control. As a child of God, it is with complete surrender that I submit to your will, plan, purpose, and timing and I thank you for the gift of life as well as for filling me with your will, plan, and purpose. Almighty God, I sincerely desire an intimate relationship with you. Give me eyes to see, ears to hear, and feet to walk, knowing that prayer will open the door to establishing a relationship with you, encounter with you, and being a part of your present moment. Lord God, it is my deep conviction that the key to rebuilding, reviving, establishing, and strengthening such a deep relationship lies in prayer.

Almighty God, I have submitted myself completely to your will as I surrender my entire life and spirit to you, and I have a deep desire for personal intimate relationships with you. As a child of God, it is clear to me that prayer is the key to awakening, rebuilding, renewing, connecting, and strengthening a deep relationship and desire for you.  Lord, it is because of the finding of your infinite grace and the abounding of your unbreakable love for me that I am learning to grow closer to you, and as I remain in an intimate relationship with you, I believe that I will bring glory to you. My Lord, help me to spend time praying, studying, and writing your word so that you can appear to me as I long for you to do so, for I know that though your holy prophets you spoke long ago, as I learn more about you, I am certain that you are the same yesterday, today, and forever. Let me take refuge under your protective wings, my Lord, and you will be my strength, my refuge, my fortress, and my shield; I trust in you to take me to safety. Dear God, cultivate within me the desire to draw more closely to you day by day. Help me to become closer to you lord god because I know that if I draw closer to you, you will soon become closer to me. It is your promise in Jeremiah 29:14 that if I seek you with all my heart, you will find me, and I will find you.

“For God be all the glory forever, through our Lord Jesus Christ, I pray, Amen.”
