The Great Commission-A Command for all Christians

A COMMAND FOR ALL CHRISTIANS

A Command for all Christians to Evangelize to all nations, baptize them in the Name of the Father, The Son, and The Holy spirit and teach them to obey everything he had commanded.

The Great Commission is the beginning of deepest faith in action for all the Saints. As Christians today, this does not mean you have to leave your home, city, country or cross the continents. If God has called you, start right where you are.

(Mark 16:15-18) He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.”

A good place to start would be from the comfort of your home. There are other wonderful ways to share Gods word with your own family, friends, neighbors and social media outlets.

The Great commission is the instruction of the Crucifixion and Resurrection of Jesus Christ to the world. As his disciples did, all the Saints are to go and spread the Gospel to all the nations of the world. Jesus said, teach the good news for everyone to obey. He has commanded and has given us a demonstration of His discipleship from himself to follow.

By sharing the great news of our Lord Jesus Christ with everyone, we can make a kingdom impact. Let us walk as Christlike people with humility, meekness, compassion, and a pure heart as we teach others about the fact that they are also free to receive salvation through the sacrifices of our Lord Jesus Christ, a free gift of eternal grace.

(Romans 1:16) For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile.

Let us be faithful to follow through with the great news that has been communicated to each of us and let the father, the son, and the holy spirit be gloried through our contribution, which will bring all the glory to God.

We as kingdom disciples invite all believers and congregations to take up the divine ordained responsibility to be disciples and make disciples by fulfilling our most important purpose. We, by working together, can make the world aware that heaven is at work on earth through this contribution.

(Ephesians 1:13-14 KJV) In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

I believe that we as Christians are blessed with wonderful testimonies and a transformation through the resurrection of Jesus Christ, and I believe that sharing our testimony can be a wise practice in order to make an impact on some who have never heard the gospel of Jesus Christ before.

Prayer:

God Almighty, thank you for calling us together as a body to serve you with humility, meekness and boldness. With Jesus Christ as our head, we come before you with a sense of unity and humility.

(1 Corinthians 12:12 KJV) For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also, is Christ.

The merciful and gracious Lord of our life, help us to embody this unity in our relationships with each other so we can live out this unity together.

(Ephesians 4:13 KJV) Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ.

Our Lord, we ask that you forgive us for the times when we have allowed divisions and differences to grow in our fold and cause a rift. May you give us compassionate hearts capable of forgiving and eager to reconcile.

(Colossians 3:12 KJV) Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.

In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, we pray that the Holy Spirit will move among us as we gather together in your name. Open our hearts and minds to receive your word, to hear your voice, and to feel your constant presence. Our Lord, may you assist us in humbling ourselves before one another as well as helping us to put aside our personal agendas and arrogance, and to work together in unity for the broader purpose of your kingdom.

(1 Corinthians 1:10-12 KJV) Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.

Lord, in light of directing all Christians to spread the gospel to all nations and ethnicities, we are commanded to go and make disciples of all nations. This is to bring your greatest commission to all mankind, illustrate your glory and splendor as we go out on this wonderful journey in obedience to your command.

“In Jesus name I pray, Amen”
