Confession Prayer- Once you place your faith in Jesus as Savior, all your sins are forgiven.
The following principle may serve as a guideline: if you are ready to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, it is in a humble manner that I am sharing this word with anyone who is reading it. It is only for the benefit of the lost soul, as well as to continue to edify the body of Christ, Jesus, and to further the Kingdom of God. I am here to assist and encourage anyone looking to begin walking with God, as well as those who are already walking with God on a daily basis. “Note: do not perform this prayer of confession under excessive pressure that you must satisfy anyone. It is my sincere hope that you will know that Jesus is ready and waiting for you regardless of your current condition or what you have done, when you make this confession, Jesus is waiting for you with open arms.
I have provided you with a few easy steps to assist you.
(Romans 6:23) For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord
The First step– In order to be reconciled to God, which is the foundation of a loving, personal relationship with him, it is necessary for you to commit yourself to a complete process of repenting from your sins, amending your ways, withdraw from your transgressions, and asking God for forgiveness for all your sins.
The Second step – To be saved, you must trust in Jesus as your personal Savior, believing that his death on the cross paid for your sins.
The Third step– Acknowledge that Jesus died and rose from death on the third day, and that this has given him the right to sit at the right hand of the Father.
The moment you accept Jesus as your Savior, all your sins-past, sins-present, and future-are accounted to human righteousness, and his perfect righteousness and right standing with God are freely given to you. It is a ransom, a transfer of ownership, and it is appropriated by faith. What a beautiful gift God has given us in His love for you. In that very moment, as you kneel before the cross, Jesus lovingly lays his arms and hand around you and forgives you as you are doing your confession before him.
The moment you sincerely call upon the Lord from the bottom of your heart, repent, and trust in Jesus as your personal Savior, you will be able to enter into an everlasting relationship with Him. {Romans 10:13} for, ‘Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.
The Bible says, doing these things with sincerity means you are a Christian (Christ follower) and will have eternal life in heaven. These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.” (1 John 5:13)
Prayer:
“The invitation prayer- “Dear God, I believe in you and that your Son, Jesus Christ, is Lord. I believe in his sacrifice for my sins and his resurrection from the dead. I repent and ask forgiveness for my sins, and I’m deciding now to follow you. Please come into my heart through the gift of your Holy Spirit. It is in the Lord Jesus’s name that I ask and receive. Amen.
“For God be all the glory forever, through our Lord Jesus Christ, I pray, Amen.”
